Main Challenges
Complex Terrain Limitations: The resort area featured steep slopes and wooded land, where traditional construction would be difficult, costly, and ecologically damaging.
Approval and Environmental Pressure: Obtaining approval for new permanent structures within the scenic area was extremely strict, requiring minimal disruption to the original landscape and vegetation.
Personalized Experience Demand: Modern travelers seek unique, immersive accommodation experiences, which standardized hotel rooms lack.
Operational Cost Control: Remote locations have high energy and maintenance costs, requiring solutions to reduce long-term operational burdens.
Solutions
Minimal Footprint Point Layout:
Each capsule pod unit could be stabilized on rugged terrain using only four micro-foundations, eliminating the need for large-scale land leveling. They were integrated into nature like “stilts,” perfectly preserving the underlying vegetation and soil.
Elevated walkways connected the pods, creating a decentralized, immersive forest living experience.
Thematic & Smart Experience:
Thematic Customization: Offered various interior themes like “Interstellar Exploration,” “Stargazing,” and “Forest Meditation” to meet the cultural IP needs of different scenic areas.
Immersive Panorama: Featured 270-degree ultra-large curved floor-to-ceiling windows, with optional smart glass that could turn opaque. This brought in magnificent mountain views by day and created a private starry cinema by night.
Whole-House Intelligence: Integrated smart voice control system for one-touch control of lighting, AC, curtains, ambient lights, and background music, delivering ultimate comfort and a tech-forward feel.
Off-Grid Operation & Ecological Cycle:
Energy Self-Sufficiency: Roof-integrated thin-film solar panels provided green power for all cabin appliances, with optional small wind turbines.
Water Saving &Eco-friendly:
Equipped with micro sewage treatment units for greywater recycling, significantly reducing environmental impact.
